Spring has sprung! and it’s time to reconnect with Joy.

This week we call upon our cheeky and gorgeous feathered friends the Pink and Grey Galahs to share their sweet nature and joyful energy with us. In the Bardi Nation Dreaming, it is told that the Galah came to the rescue of a Dove who had injured her foot, trying to help, she bit the Dove’s wound and all the colours of the rainbow came forth. This is how the Galah got her colours.

We will be tuning into the Galah for assistance also, to free up the more colourful playful nature that is hidden within us. Galahs are all heart. They have strong communities and family bonds; they chatter and play together with unfettered Joy and spontaneity. Galahs are inclusive, always welcoming each other into the social group, they value and care for one another.

It is natural for us to retreat within during the winter months and have a deeper more soul-searching reflective period. Spring however, is the time to “blossom”, to rejoice in life and renew our spirits through connection to the outside natural world and the wider community. Galah will inspire us to have the self-confidence, to display our unique personality and talents that will enrich our experiences and relationships, and free us to enjoy this next phase of life with open hearts .
