Practitioner Calendar & Availability
On this page, practitioners can check your appointments, update your availability and rent a room.
A brief explanation of the tabs below is as follows:
- Staff Calendar:Â The calendar that shows your appointments for the month
- Staff Advanced:Â Here you can set your timezone and provide your Zoom details (for Zoom practitioners only)
- Staff Schedule: Use this only if you’re going to be providing your services weekly
- Staff Special Days:Â Use this if you’re going to be working on a non-regular basis (i.e. whether you’re working a few days a month or fortnight)
- Staff Days Off:Â Use this to block off an entire day that you want to take off (e.g. for holidays, etc)
Things to take into account when updating your availability
We have set Bookly up so that each slot time has a duration of 2.5 hrs, even though the actual healing with the client is 1.5 hrs. These slots take into account the 30 mins before the session start (apart from the 9am slot), and 30 mins after the session finishes.
To the client, the following times are available to be booked:
- 9am
- 11.30am
- 2pm
- 4.30pm
However, in terms of you setting your availability in Bookly, you need to take into account the entire 2.5hr slot instead of the 1.5hr slot that is available to the client. If you set the wrong times of availability, you run the risk of not actually being shown as available on the Bookly calendar!
Essentially, these are the times you want to be working with in terms of adjusting your availability:

Blocking out your availability
- If you are available for 9am and 2pm on Sunday and wish to block out 9am, find the particular Sunday in the “Special Days” tab, and put your hours as 2pm – 6pm. This will then show your slot as being available for 2pm.
- If you’re available for the whole day but blocking one slot out (say the 2pm slot), you would find the particular day in “Special Days” tab, and you can either set your availability as 9am – 2pm and 4.30pm – 6pm (you’d have to do this in two separate goes), or set the 9am – 7pm but add a break which is the 2pm – 4.30pm slot).

If you update your availability, please also let the Clinic Manager know on clinic@onetribehealing.com.au. As we are using Google calendar and your profile page to show your availability for the month, this needs to be manually updated by the Clinic Manager.Â
Book a room
We have 2 rooms that you can rent from. Please note we’ve only labelled them Room 1 & 2 for the purposes of booking a room.
The rooms will be on a first come first served basis.
For practitioners who both rent a room AND use Bookly to book clients
- Rent a room via the relevant calendar; and
- Block out your availability in Bookly for that particular time. Please refer to the section above regarding blocking out your availability.
Room 1
These rooms are booked on a first in first served basis. Whilst the booking system labels each room as Room 1 or Room 2, you are free to choose which room you which to use in the Clinic.

Room 2
These rooms are booked on a first in first served basis. Whilst the booking system labels each room as Room 1 or Room 2, you are free to choose which room you which to use in the Clinic.
