Star of Isis Medicine

Isis, divine mother goddess of Egypt, has been linked to the star Sirius since ancient times.

Sirius is the brightest star in our night sky and every year at this time it rises directly behind our sun for several weeks, bringing a surge of galactic light codes to us through the sun.

The journey of Sirius across the sky, following the constellation of Orion, which is linked to Osiris (Isis’s divine masculine consort), plays out the great love story between Isis and Osiris, a story of union, healing and rebirth.

This ancient story tells how Osiris was murdered by his brother Set, cut into 14 pieces, his body parts spread across Egypt. Isis devoted herself to finding the parts and through combining the power of love and light, was able to unify, heal and resurrect Osiris.

In the night sky, the star Sirius/Isis is at the feet of Orion/Osiris who appears to be lying on his back. As they journey across the sky, Orion/Osiris rises up until he appears to be standing, while Sirius/Isis shines brightly, supporting him throughout this journey of ascension.

One Tribe recently experienced the profound vibration of Isis’s unconditional love while visiting her temple in Philae, Egypt. Our intention for this soundscape is to share this connection with you all, additionally powered by the presence of the star Sirius.
