Kangaroo Medicine

For the final session of the year, we honour the lands we live, work, love and breathe upon and the ancestral connections found deep within it. In particular, we honour the Kangaroo, which encourages us to celebrate life and bound forward into 2023 full of Spirit, pride and vigour.

The year for many has been a big one. We have all let things go and moved forward. This is one of the big medicines of the Kangaroo – it can ONLY jump in one direction – forward. This year we have had to dig deep into ourselves and realign to what is truly important for us. If you have not made this shift, the year is not yet over and this session can help you bound forward WITH CONFIDENCE. As the year draws to an end and as you journey into this session, ask yourself what have I let go of? What can I still release? How can I move forward?

Another potent medicine of the Kangaroo, associated with its magnificent tail and its demeanour, is balance. This incredible being effortlessly moves through the bush, bounding one way and another with complete poise. It rests in the heat of the day, mingles and moves in harmony with the mob and is balanced in Spirit being connected to all that is. As we reflect upon what has been and how we want the next year to be, we can ask ourselves where can I celebrate the parts of my life that are in balance? Where am I out of balance and how can I move back into it? I am held by the earth, by the great mother of life and I can live, breathe and operate in a balanced way. In fact, my abundance of all good things expands exponentially as I do.

Kangaroo says: “Come to this session to reclaim and celebrate your balance and to build your self-esteem for the year to come. This season is one of bounty, rest and celebration. Do that, yet also begin to design the life you choose for yourself. To bring in what you truly want you must build your self-worth, confidence and trust. Celebrate the year that has been and dream in the one to come. This session will be magical calling upon the mystical medicine of my Spirit and the Spirit of the land too”.
