What do you see when you look into her eyes?

Earlier this month, the One Tribe sound healing team journeyed throughout Egypt.
Tucked away in the ruins of Karnak Temple in Luxor, we were guided to a small dark chamber.. here we stood before goddess Sekhmet – ‘She who is powerful’ or ‘the One who loves Ma’at (justice)’.
The daughter of sun god Ra, depicted with the body of a woman and head of a lioness, Sekhmet is the goddess of the hot desert sun, war, destruction, justice and healing.

In that chamber, Sekhmet demands your complete presence. Over 8ft tall and 4000 years old, her energy is alive and bigger than the entire room. With a ferocious motherly love she summons you to face your shadow, the parts we wish to not see, and to ignite your inner fire, activating the inner warrior/ess within. It must be remembered that what is in our shadow is not only our darkness, but also our light. It is our light that we can often not see.. as was the theme for our group on this occasion.

This week through sound, intention, and energy, we wish to give you the opportunity for the same powerful healing and transmission. Join us on a pilgrimage through the hot sand and winds of ancient Egypt, where you too can meet beloved Sekhmet in her temple chamber, face to face, eye to eye.
